This year, the Alois Hammerl Landbäckerei has been able to add a further milestone to its development of recent years: since May 2019 our traditional bakery in Hard is organic certified.
Two organic breads lead the way
The preparation for our entry to organic production took about a year – from the development of the recipes and finding the right suppliers to the final tasting of the two new organic breads: the Organic Sunflower Seed Bread and the Organic Mixed Seed Bread.
Organic ingredients from Southern Germany and Austria
Especially good: thanks to intense research, we were able to get suppliers for all required organic ingredients for both new organic breads from Southern Germany and the nearby Austrian region. The first step has therefore been taken. We also have plans for the coming year as we are already working on a further rye-wheat bread and wholemeal rye bread. As organic not only tastes good, but spreads joy, our master bakers already have many ideas for further organic breads and organic snacks by Alois Hammerl Landbäckerei.
